NASHUA, N.H.-- Junior Ashley Ruocco (East Kingston, NH) scored a pair of goals the Raiders defeated visiting Bay Path College, 4-0 today in non-conference Field Hockey action.

Ruocco gave the home team an early lead as she capitalized on a beautiful set up pass from classmate Kristen Tyler (Thornton, NH). The goal was Ruocco's 6th of 2011. After the goal was scored, the team would play the final 32 minutes of the first half scoreless.

Sophomore Cora Healy (Bedford, NH) would net her first goal of the season just six minutes into the second half. Freshman Christina Demmons (Nashua, NH) was credited with the assist. Seven minutes later, Ruocco would record her second goal of the game as she one-timed it after another brilliant assist from Tyler. Demmons would add an unassisted put back goal with less than two minutes left to make it a 4-0 final.

Freshman goaltender Makenzie Flagg (Shirley, MA) recorded her third shutout of 2011 as she stopped 11 of the 12 shots on goal. Sophomore defenseman Meghan Stephen (Pelham, NH) made a defensive save to keep the shutout intact.
