In an exciting afternoon of softball, Bay Path University triumphed over Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) with a final score of 10-6. The game, held on April 10, 2025, saw Bay Path's early offensive surge set the stage for their victory, despite a resilient comeback effort from MCLA.

The game started with a bang for Bay Path, who scored an impressive eight runs in the first inning. M. Vera initiated the scoring with an RBI single, followed by C. Austin and J. Bourdreau contributing to the tally with a walk and a two-RBI double, respectively. The scoring frenzy was capped off by A. Morrison, who reached on an error, bringing the score to 8-0 in favor of Bay Path. MCLA responded in the bottom of the first inning when M. Closinski reached on a fielding error, allowing E. Staffier to score their first run. The hosts continued to chip away at the deficit in the second inning with a two-RBI double from M. Teta, making it 9-3.
