Wildcats Basketball Team and SAAC Host WBCA Pink Zone Game

The Bay Path Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and the women's basketball team hosted a "Pink Zone" game on Thursday, February 10th. The Bay Path effort was conducted in conjunction with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) "Pink Zone" initiative.

Bay Path raised $347 in the effort. All of the proceeds will benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

SAAC raised money and awareness by setting up a table during lunch and at the basketball game, where they sold pink t-shirts, beads and ribbons. Fans were also asked to wear pink during the game on Thursday.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is a 501 c(3) charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women's cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.
