2008 NECC Women’s Tennis Championships Conclude with Bay Path and Becker Sharing Individual Honors

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The 2008 New England Collegiate Conference Women's Tennis Championships were hosted this inaugural year by the Wildcats of Bay Path College at the Blinn Tennis Courts. The two-day individual flighted tournament was based on each member student-athlete's conference regular season records for both singles and doubles action.

Bay Path College senior Raquel Babeu of North Adams, MA, was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Womens Tennis Player of the Year during the 2008 NECC Womens Tennis All-Conference Teams and Awards.
