Bio

Heather Longley became the 8th head coach to lead the "Wildcats"volleyball program in the fall of 2021. She led the team to the USCAA Division 1 Championships in her first season.  Many of the teams players were honored during the season with year end USCAA awards.  Coach Longley earned both a Bachelor's of Science and Masters of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Violence Prevention and Victim Advocacy in 2016 & 2018. 

Coach Longley comes to Bay Path after a successful four-year stint as head coach of the girls program at Granby Memorial High School and the Southwick High School JV Boys team.  "Bay Path University is excited to have Coach Longley come on board and lead the volleyball team back to being a competitive program" said Director of Athletics, Steve Smith.  

Longley is also head coach of the Pioneer Valley Volleyball Clubs 18U Girls Hybrid team and conducts lessons and summer camp and clinic programs through the New England Private Volleyball Coaches Association.  Prior to her position with the Pioneer Valley Volleyball Club she was a coach for the Beantown Volleyball Club from 2012-2016.
