Bay Path Competes in NCAA New England Regionals

WESTFIELD, Mass. - The Bay Path College women’s cross-country team members competed in the 2012 NCAA New England Regional Cross-country meet hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park on November 10, 2012. The race had over 365 runners and 51 teams competing.
Wildcats Finish Regular Season at the Golden Bears Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Bay Path finished 22nd at the Western New England Golden Bears Invitational. Westfield State won the team title with 14 points, while Babson’s Marina Capalbo was the individual medalists with a rime of 19:02.62.
Wildcats Race in James Early Invitational

WESTFIELD, Mass.- Bay Path finished 42nd in the largest Invitational of the season with a team score of 1296. The host Westfield State University Owl’s placed fifth in the 17th Annual James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park on Saturday, Oct. 6.Wildcats freshman harrier Lian Brumaghim (Newtown, Conn.) again held her top place for the Wildcats finishing 351st out of 453 runners overall and 228th in team place with a time of 30:06.57 running her first 6K of the season getting ready for NCAA Regionals.
Wildcats Finish 11th in Blazers Invitational, 2nd NECC Team

CHICOPEE, Mass.- The Wildcat harriers finished 11th out of 14 colleges at the 2012 Elms College Blazer Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September22nd . Bay Path scored a 282 with seven runners competing in the 5K. UNE topped all teams with a score of 28 with their five top runners placing in the top ten.
Brumaghim Once Again Tops Wildcats at Smith Invitational

NORTHAMPTON, Mass.- The Wildcat harriers finished 13th out of 14 colleges at the 2012 Smith College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 8th. Bay Path scored a 393 with seven runners competing in the 5K. Wellesley topped all teams with a score of 53 with six of their top runners placing in the top 20. Freshman Lian Brumaghim (Newtown, Conn.) once again lead the way for the Wildcats finishing 115th overall with a time of 26:25.97. 152 runners competed in the race.
Bay Path Competes in Mayflower Cross Country Invitational, Brumaghim Leads Wildcats

HENNIKER, H.H.- The Wildcat harriers finished 10th out of 11 teams at the Mayflower Cross Country Invitational on Friday, August 31st in the first race of the 2012 season hosted by New England College. Bay Path score a 243 with seven runners competing in the 5K. Husson topped all teams with a score of 26 with their top five runners placing in the top ten. Clearing the chute first for the day was Babson sophomore Marina Capalbo with a time of 20:43. There were 96 runners on the course for the day. Freshman Lian Brumaghim (Newtown, Conn.) lead the way for the Wildcats finishing 29th overall with a time of 25:09.

Bay Path was selected to place in the middle of the pack for the coming season. Returning a eight runners, they look forward to a strong season.
