Student Spotlight
Why did you come to Bay Path?
I came to Bay Path College
because I wanted to go to a small school where I could
get the one on one help from my professors. I wanted each
person on this campus to know me as an individual and not just a
student. Not only do I get the academic help I need,
but I am also able to play the sports I love so much, and
bring what I have to the table to possibly make the team
stronger as a whole. I love Bay Path.
What do you like to do outside of
sports?
Outside of sports I like to
spend time with friends.
What do you like the most about Basketball?
The part I enjoyed most about
basketball was definitely the type of commitment I
was able to make to my coaches and team. Each practice, both my
coaches pushed me to be a stronger player,
and believed in me! And my team supported me threw every
practice and every game, even when I was having an off day and
got discouraged. My team was there to help me hold my head up and
kept me motivated to never stop. Basketball made me
stronger physically and mentally.
What do you like most about Volleyball?
The part I enjoy most about
volleyball is the intensity and the friendships I made.
Volleyball is my first love, the intensity is like
nothing else, every ball needs to be playable, so you learn to rely
and trust your teammates to help you succeed. This made our
friendships so great. We bond so easily because we all learn to
trust each other! Most of my best friends are volleyball
players!
Where do you
see yourself in 5 years?
In five years I hope to be working in a private care facility as an Occupational therapist. I see myself lying out on my boat somewhere warm playing beach volleyball and loving life.
