Student-Athlete Spotlight
Why did you come to Bay Path?
It has a very good science program and it is on the smaller side so the professors know the students by name and they are willing to do what they can for us to succeed
What do you like to do outside of sports?
Go see family and friends, hike, hunt, shoot skeet, jeeping,
four-wheeling.
What is your most memorable moment as
an athlete at Bay Path?
I don't have one memorable moment from four years of playing
field hockey and three years softball, I have many.
Getting selected by the team all four years to be a
captain of field hockey is a great honor and I will never forget
that. This team has come a long way since it became a varsity
sport. I am proud to be part of that history. Many great things
have happened in softball. Going to Myrtle Beach was an adventure
and being a starter for every game was a thrill every time I
stepped out on the field. There is nothing better than to hear the
crack of the bat and the feeling of having a good, solid hit on the
ball so it soars out of the field and over the fence.
Do you plan on playing sports or
coaching after you graduate?
I am already set up to coach a little league softball team in
the spring after I graduate.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I don't know where I will be in five years but I do know
wherever that is I will always have the knowledge and experience
that Bay Path has given me to succeed. I will not give up. If I
fall I will try again, no matter how hard it is at the time. I will
get through it because I know that things could be much worse, and
I will be okay. It will only get better from here.
