Chicopee, MA – The Elms College women's basketball team defeated Bay Path University 87-60 in NECC action on Tuesday night at Picknelly Arena. The win pushes the Blazers to 9-15 overall and 5-8 in conference play.
Elms got off to a fast start and held a 24-11 advantage at the end of the first quarter. The Blazers continued to build on its lead, and took an 18 point lead into halftime.
The second half was more of the same with Elms controlling the game as they continued to build on their lead.
The Blazers had 11 different players register a basket in the 87-60 win. Regina LeBlanc (Enfield, CT) led the way for the home side with 18 points, eight rebounds, six assists, four steals, and two blocks.
The Blazers wrap up the regular season on the road Saturday 2/22 at 1PM at Eastern Nazarene College.
