Wildcats Fall to Wells 5-0 in Field Hockey Action

AURORA, N.Y.- The Wildcats of Bay Path fell 5-0 in field hockey action to Wells College today on the road. Wells' Avary McKinney notched the first goal and eventual game winner at 4:37 on the clock. Avary would repeat at 23:12 with teammate Kweita Holmes finishing off the scoring in the first half heading into the break 3-0.

Wells would come back and tally two more goals over the Wildcats. For the game, senior goalkeeper Samantha Berrios (New York, N.Y.) faced 17 shots, 13 on goal and notched eight saves. Wells finished with nine penalty corners to the Wildcats three for the match.

Bay Path is now 0-4 on the season and will host Simmons College in their first home match on Wednesday, September 21st at a 4:00 p.m. start time at Ryan Field.
