LEICESTER, Mass.- Becker College defeated Bay Path College 50-61 in New England Collegiate Conference women's basketball action.

New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week Tatiana Mojica (Worcester, Mass.) led the Hawks with 15 points in just 20 minutes, 11 of the points came in the first half. Freshman Chelsea Joubert (Westboro, Mass.) chipped in with 10 points. Heidi Miller (Sanbornton, N.H.) cleaned up under the hoop with a game high 8 rebounds.

With the win Becker improved its record to 4-12 overall and 2-6 in the NECC. The Hawks are off until February 3^rd when they travel to Lesley University.

Brittney Alexander (Enfield, Conn.) carried Bay Path with a game high 17 points. Teammate Justine Hook (Berwick, PA.) added 13 points in the loss. Bay Path falls to 0-17 overall and 0-9 in the NECC. The Wildcats will travel to Southern Vermont for a tilt with the Mountaineers on Thursday evening.
