White to lead "Wildcats" into the 2019 season

Sophia White has been named Head Coach of the Lacrosse team at Bay Path.  She takes over a team that was was 4-9 overall and 3-4 in NECC play in 2018.  

Coach White begins her 1st season as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Bay Path University Athletic Department in the spring of 2019.  "We are very excited to have Coach White join our staff and look forward to her putting her imprint on this program", said Director of Athletics, Steve Smith.

Coach White is currently a Master of Science in Sport & Exercise Psychology student at Springfield College studying and working with athletes to achieve better performance, a healthier mindset and to provide them tools to reach their goals.

White has B.A. in Psychology with with a concentration in Counseling and Health Psychology from Emmanuel College in Boston where she was a member and then captain of the women's lacrosse team garnering All Conference titles her sophomore, junior and senior years as well as being awarded the school-wide Saints Club Award. In addition she was asked and participated in an international team program visiting Australia.
