Bio
Nick
Chapman begins the Wildcat’s Lacrosse Program as Interim Head
Coach. His duties at Bay Path College also include; Assistant
Director of Athletics and Heaad Soccer Coach.
He
currently is a Head Coach for Nor' Easter Girls Lacrosse Club in
CT, coaching the Freshman team.
Chapman
came to us from Regis University in Denver, CO where he was an
assistant coach for the Women’s Soccer Program. This past
season he helped lead the Rangers to be RMAC tournament champions
and to the second round of the NCAA Division II National
Tournament, finishing the season 16-5-2.
Chapman
also spent two seasons as the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse and
Soccer Coach at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY.
While
at Bard College he helped to bring the program from club status to
a full varsity schedule in the Skyline Conference. Additionally
Chapman assisted the athletics department as Event Administrator
and Game Setup Manager along with his duties as the Assistant
Director of a scholarship program called Bard Opportunities
Programs.
Prior
to Chapman’s collegiate coaching career, he spent several
years as the Head Women’s Soccer coach at Newberg High School
in Oregon. While there he led the program to two consecutive class
6A state tournament appearances in 2006 and 2007. Receiving the PAC
6 Conference Coach of the Year award in 2006.
Chapman
received a
M.A. in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia
University, Irvine. He also recieved a B.A.
in Education and Camp Administration from George Fox University
where he was a four year varsity starter for the soccer
program.
Chapman
and his wife Lindsay currently reside in Windsor, CT.
