Bay Path Takes Down Albertus Magnus 9-0 on the Road

NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The Wildcats continued on their winning streak for the week making it a 3-0 record and 4-1 on the season shutting down Albertus Magnus on the road 9-0 today in a NCAA women's tennis regional match.

"After a strong start for the Wildcats we are excited to face our NECC rival Becker College on Tuesday," stated Head Coach Steve Morneau.

All three doubles easily shut down their opponents 8-0 with the #1 doubles finishing first and #3 doubles were not to far behind.

Partners senior Sarah Costa (Tiverton, R.I.) and sophomore Symone Watson (Hamden, Conn.) took the #1 doubles Finishing next was the #3 doubles spot of sophomore Teanna Montoyo (Edgartown, Mass.) and freshman Cynthia Hilton (San Fernando, Calif.). Rounding out the doubles action in the #2 spot was freshman Stephanie Morin (Springfield, Mass.) and senior Lianna Loveitt (Gorham, Maine) .

All but the #1 doubles closed the door on their opponents 6-0, 6-0. Costa defeated sophomore SandyBell Anorga (Stamford, Conn.) 6-0, 6-1.
