Bay Path Falls 3-0 NECC Action against Daniel Webster

HOLYOKE, Mass.- Senior outside hitter Kate Bartels (Dalton, Mass.) led the Wildcats with a sizzling .538 attack percentage tallying eight kills  and seven digs for the night. The Wildcats fell 25-16, 25-22 and 25-20 in their "Dig Pink" night while wearing tie-dyed pink in support of breast cancer awareness to New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) rival the Eagles of Daniel Webster.

The Eagles were led by freshman outside hitter Samantha Betts (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) finishing the night with a double double hitting a stifling .500 for the match. Betts topped all hitters with ten kills while pitching in 13 digs for Daniel Webster. Fellow freshman outside hitter Madeline Roulier (Pittsfield, Mass.) added six kills and four digs. Senior setter Ally Hayden (Bedford, N.H.) had 15 assists.

Sophomore outside hitters Gladys Reed (Hamden, Conn.) and Elizabeth Haylette (Terryville, Conn.) each concluded the match with five kills apiece. Freshman setter Aaliyah Gordon (Springfield, Mass.) led all players with 18 assists.

The Eagles are now 5-8 overall and 2-1 in the NECC, while the Wildcats fall to 1-16 and 0-4 in conference play.
