Bay Path Falls to Daniel Webster 3-1

HOLYOKE, Mass.- Bay Path fell 3-1 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's volleyball play to the Eagles of Daniel Webster tonight at the Bartley Center. Daniel Webster took the first two games 26-24, 25-11 while Bay Path came back to take game three 28-26 and ultimately lost 25-15 in the fourth set. The Wildcats were led by senior middle hitter Elizabeth Haylette (Terryville, Conn.) and sophomore outside hitter Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn) both swinging in the double figures for kills.

 Sophomore middle blocker Hannah Koehler (Bedford, N.H.) topped all players with 15 kills and amassing a stellar .650 attack percentage. Junior teammate and outside hitter Madeline Roulier (Pittsfield, Mass.) wasn't far behind with 13 kills and a .314 attack percentage. Roulier also added eight digs and a match high seven service aces.

Haylette notched the lone double double of the match with 11 kills and 10 digs. Vallee finished with 13 kills and six digs. Freshman Libero  Joanne Nazario (Springfield, Mass.) also finished with 10 digs. Freshman setter Lexi Cears (Agawam, Mass.) added 24 assists, while junior right side hitter Jennifer Pham (Springfield, Mass.) had five service aces.

The Eagles freshman Libero Meaghan Six (Manchester, N.H.) was a defensive threat finishing with 23 digs. Sophomore setter Nicole Beard (Shelton, Conn.) chipped in 30 assists.

The Wildcats are now 6-9  on the season and 1-3  in New England Collegiate Conference play, while Daniel Webster advances to 5-17 overall and 1-3 in league action.  time.
