LONGMEADOW, Mass. – The Bay Path University Women's Volleyball team swept visiting Pine Manor College, 3-0, in a non-conference contest at First Baptist Gymnasium Thursday evening. With the win, the Wildcats improved to 3-11 on the season.
The Wildcats downed the Gators by cruising to a 25-5 victory in the first set, followed by 25-14 and 25-16 wins to complete the sweep. Sophomore Marissa Courchesne paced the Bay Path attack with a match-high seven kills along with three digs. Classmate Lydia Clifford fired a match-high nine aces with six kills while senior Tayla Hicks and sophomore Delaney Ivas tallied four aces apiece. Freshman Khyarah Gaston-Feliciano dished out a match-high seven assists in the win.
Bay Path will return to the court with a non-conference clash against Fisher College Saturday at The Winsor School. First serve is set for Noon.
