Mitchell Defeats Bay Path

The Wildcats were led by Jessica Hunt of Madison, CT, with 17 points and 12 rebounds, and while teammate Kathleen Rodrigue of West Stewartstown, NH, netted 13 points and pulled down 11 boards in the loss.

Mitchell dominated the first 20 minutes of play forcing the Wildcats into 21 turnovers. Mariners’ freshman guard Bianca Young of Bridgeport, CT, scored 21 points, while her teammage Jen Iglesias of Waterbury, CT, chipped in 13 points and eight assists in the win. Iglesias scored all of her 13 points in the first half to pace the Mariners, and fello Mariner Brittany Smyth of Winsted, CT, had eight steals.
