USCAA  STATEMENT

The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) is a national organization that exists to provide quality athletic competition on a regional and national level. The USCAA focuses specifically on smaller institutions of higher learning and their student-athletes. The association believes that all athletes and programs deserve the same national opportunities as larger institutions. We are an organization that can provide those opportunities.

The primary goal of the USCAA is to provide members with an association that is devoted to the growth, vision, and values of their institutions. The USCAA’s focus is to enhance member institutions through athletics. The association intends to achieve this goal by providing opportunities for small colleges to compete on an equal level of competition with schools of like size and athletic programs. Our association seeks to conduct national championships, name All-Americans, recognize scholar athletes, and promote USCAA member schools. The USCAA believes that the integrity and credibility of the association and its members is paramount in accomplishing its goal.

The USCAA provides a national setting that traditional and nontraditional institutions can strive in. The membership is made up of several types of nationally accredited higher education programs. Member institutions offer four year degrees, associates degrees, and trade opportunities. The USCAA has worked to formulate an association that provides an equal playing field for each type of institution. USCAA members typically have small enrollment figures that range between 500 and 2000. The USCAA is proud of its institutions and outstanding athletic programs, and wants to provide a place where diverse schools feel welcome and can compete at a national level.

The USCAA provides a place for smaller athletic programs to gain national experience and have many of the same opportunities as larger institutions. Members are provided the opportunity to compete in eleven National Championships in seven sports. National Players of the Week, Athletic All-Americans, and scholar athletes are selected by the USCAA to provide positive recognition for our member institutions and their student athletes

The USCAA provides a place for smaller athletic programs to gain national experience and have many of the same opportunities as larger institutions. Members are provided the opportunity to compete in ten National Championships in six sports. National Players of the Week, Athletic All-Americans, and scholar athletes are selected by the USCAA to provide positive recognition for our member institutions and their student athletes. The USCAA prides itself on its devotion to its membership. The association works with its members to help them operate more effectively and efficiently. The USCAA strives to assist its members in professional development.

The USCAA National Convention brings members from across the nation together to discuss concerns, educate, and enlighten members on the status and future of the USCAA.

The USCAA National website provides a direct link for members and their athletes to gain recognition for their achievements. The website provides direct links to member homepages and athletic staff information. The USCAA provides a unique dual membership opportunity. Many members are affiliated with other national organizations. Dual membership provides our members with more scheduling opportunities and diverse competition. The USCAA’s policy is not to compete with other national organizations for members, but instead provide more opportunities for competition.
