Senior Herring Concludes her Collegiate Career with 488 points HOLYOKE, Mass.-Bay Path falls 88-to-38 to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Regular Season Champs the Nighthawks of Newbury College today in their final regular season game of the season. Senior guard Kaylee Herring (Worcester, Vt.) concluded her career today with nine points, four rebounds and three assists. Freshman guard Emmeline Bronson (Shelton, Conn.) led the Wildcats with 15 points and seven rebounds.
Bay Path Falls to Local NECC Rivals Elms 74-53

HOLYOKE, Mass. – The Wildcats of Bay Path fell 74-53 to cross-town New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) rivals the Blazers of Elms College in NCAA Division III women’s basketball action tonight at HCC’s Bartley Center. Coming off the bench for the Wildcats, senior forward Paige Marshall (New Britain, Conn.) led her team with a double double finishing with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Topping all players was freshman center Angelica Peguero-Flores (Springfield, Mass.) with 22 points, 13 boards, five steals and an amazing seven blocks for the Blazers.

HOLYOKE, Mass. – Lesley sophomore forward Dakota Jones (Torrence, Calif.) topped all players with a double double scoring 22 points and pulling down 22 rebounds. Bay Path senior Kaylee Herring (Worcester, Vt.) led her team with 15 points, four steals and four boards. Herring nailed three shots from downtown. Lesley managed to hold onto their lead despite a valiant effort by the Wildcats in the second half winning 60-53. The Wildcats outscored the Lynx in the second half 34-to-25.

Herring, Armstead and Marshall Combine for 22 Points HOLYOKE, Mass. – Senior Kaylee Herring (Worcester, Vt.) pumped in a team-high nine points, while freshman guard Shameria Armstead (Brenham, Texas) flirted with a double-double, recording eight points and 10 rebounds as the Bay Path University women’s basketball team was defeated by Mitchell College 57-30 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action Tuesday evening at the Bartley Center.

Bassett, Bronson and Herring Pace Wildcats with 12 Points Each HOLYOKE, Mass. – Despite three players scoring 12 points apiece, the Bay Path University women’s basketball team fell to non-conference rival Mount Ida College 70-44 Wednesday afternoon at the Bartley Center. For the Wildcats, junior forward Haleigh Bassett (Millers Falls, Mass) narrowly missed a double-double, registering 12 points and nine rebounds. Bassett was matched for the Wildcats’ team lead in scoring by freshman guard Emmeline Bronson (Shelton, Conn.) and senior guard Kaylee Herring (Worcester, Vt.), both of whom registered 12 points.

Bronson Leads Wildcats with 11 Points HOLYOKE, Mass. – The Bay Path University women’s basketball team opened its 2017-18 season on Wednesday evening but came up a bit short, dropping a 79-36 decision to the University of St. Joseph in non-conference action at the Bartley Center.Freshman guard Emmeline Bronson (Shelton, Conn.) made her collegiate debut special, posting team highs with 11 points and eight rebounds for the Wildcats. Senior guard Kaylee Herring (Worcester, Vt.) also reached double figures for Bay Path, recording 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting, while adding a game-high five steals.
