Bay Path College set for NCAA D-III Week

Beginning on Monday, April 8 and continuing through Sunday, April 14, Bay Path College will join approximately 450 fellow colleges and universities to celebrate NCAA Division III Week.

This is the second year of the week-long celebration that was created to honor the unique philosophy of Division III athletics which equally values academics, athletics, and student-athletes’ involvement in a full and rich campus life.

The weeks events will include Student-Athletes working with a local Girls Scouts chapter for National Women and Girl's Sports Day event, Campus Academic Achievement Day, Special Olympics luncheon, and Pink Out day.

The week-long celebration is part of NCAA Division III’s identity initiative. The concept was introduced in 2010 to provide an assortment of tools and programs for use in sharpening the division’s identity and to enable schools and conferences to consistently explain to constituencies ranging from prospective student-athletes to the local community why they prefer to compete at the Division III level.
