Special Olympics donation by the Bay Path College SAAC
On the 3rd day of NCAA Division III Week, the “Wildcats of Bay Path College and the Western section of the Massachusetts Special Olympic got together for lunch to meet about past and future events that the groups can become partners.
The Bay Path College Student-Athlete Advisory Council, Athletic Department staff and representatives from the Special Olympics were on hand for this event. Director John Scully and Assistant Director Brenna Davis of the Western Massachusetts section for Special Olympics accepted a fundraising donation of $685 presented by the student-athletes. The money was raised through series of fundraisers with the annual Bay Path College golf tournament contributing $435.
Bay Path student-athletes will be working over the next year very closely on events, community projects, fundraising, and education programs.
