Bay Path Field Hockey Receives NECC Honors

Anna Maria's Kylie Dalbec was chosen by the leagues coaches as the 2013 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Field Hockey Player of the Year. The sophomore forward leads the conference with eight goals, seven assists and 23 points in conference play. Dalbec, last season's NECC Rookie of the Year, has five game winners for the AMCATS who went undefeated against NECC competition.

Bay Path sophomore Anna Meyer was honored as the NECC Goalkeeper of the Year. Meyer made 88 saves during six conference games allowing 10 goals for a .898 save percentage.

Anna Maria first year Kaitlyn Moran earned NECC Rookie of the Year accolades. Moran has six goals and two assists for 14 points in conference play this season ranking her second in the league in goals and points behind teammate Kylie Dalbec.

Anna Maria head coach Sharon Zenevitch was voted Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season after leading her team to a perfect 6-0 mark in conference play.

Regis College has been honored with the league's Sportsmanship Award. NECC all-conference selections are determined by a vote of the conference coaches.
