Strong Offense Not Enough as Bay Path University Falls to Martin Luther College
Both teams put up a bunch of runs, but Bay Path University fell to Martin Luther College 14-10 on Monday.
In the first inning, Bay Path University got their offense started when Taylor Suffoletto singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.
Martin Luther College pulled away for good with six runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth O Siehr singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Anna Busch singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Lisa Hoffer singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, Jordyn Heckondorf singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, and Katie Rassat singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Bay Path University put up three runs in the seventh inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Ansley Morrison and fly out RBI by Olivia Stebbins.
