Bay Path University's women's lacrosse season is under way with a 22-2 win over Dean College. It was the opening game for the "Wildcats" who were led by Elena Helming, (Maplewood, NJ) breaking the single game record for goals with 8 along with an assist. Kaylee Herring, (Worcester, VT) also had a huge game with 7 goals and 2 assists to lead the "Cats". Bay Path led 17-1 at halftime and scored a team high 22 for the game. First year Bay Path's freshman goalie, Kristina Tran, (Agawam, Mass.) earned her 1st collegiate win while making 2 saves.
Next up for the Wildcats is a game March 23, 2017 at Green Mountain College at 4 pm.
