In a dynamic display of skill and teamwork, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) triumphed over Bay Path with a decisive 4-0 victory on September 14, 2025, at the Wainwright Complex in South Portland. This win marks a strong start for SMCC, improving their season record to 2-1-0, while Bay Path remains winless at 0-1-0.
From the outset, SMCC asserted their dominance. Jaidyn Stuart opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a well-assisted goal by Addie Fiandaca, setting the tone for the match. Annabelle Fournier doubled their lead shortly before halftime with an unassisted strike at the 39th minute, showcasing her skill and precision.
The second half saw SMCC maintain their momentum as Amya Braley found the net unassisted at the 49th minute, further extending SMCC's lead. Annabelle Fournier sealed the team's victory with her second unassisted goal in the 86th minute, affirming her status as the standout player of the match.
