Mitchell College opened the scoring late in the first half when Tori Jones found the back of the net at the 42:50 mark, assisted by Cassandra Roman. The momentum continued to swing in Mitchell's favor as they entered the second half with a goal from Cassandra Roman just 4 minutes and 24 seconds in, courtesy of an assist from Ava Iwasko. Roman struck again at the 70:50 mark, this time assisted by Taylor Bialowas, securing her second goal of the match and cementing the team's lead.
