Wlidcats Place Four Student-Athletes on USCAA DI Volleyball All-Academic Team

 Longmeadow, Mass.

 

The USCAA announced the 2023 Fall All-Academic Team for Women's Volleyball DI.  Four "Wildcats' were recognized for their excellence in their academic work.  The following student-athletes were honored;

 

Zyiasia on making the USCAA All Academic Team! Zyi has maintained a 3.81 GPA majoring in Medical Science with a Pre-Medicine concentration while playing volleyball. She works overnights as an EMT for AMR ambulance service and is currently serving in the United States Air Force as well

 

Lilly on making the USCAA All Academic Team! Lilly has maintained a 3.87 GPA majoring in Biology while not only playing volleyball but also being our team captain and making First Team All American this season! In the off season, Lilly coaches a girls club team for Pioneer Valley Juniors and is an assistant coach with the Southwick Regional School boys volleyball team.

 

Vicky on making the USCAA All Academic Team! To be a part of the All Academic Team, the athletes must maintain a GPA over a 3.5 at sophomore year or above. Vicky has been able to do that while majoring in Medical Science and minoring in Child Psychology all while playing volleyball! She also works early mornings at Circuit Coffee and volunteers as an assistant coach with the Southwick Regional School boys volleyball team in the off season.

 

Renee on making the USCAA All Academic Team for her second year in a row! Renee has maintained a 3.88 GPA majoring in Biology while playing volleyball! She is also the manager of quality control at a local microbiology laboratory. In the off season she coaches a girls club team for Pioneer Valley Juniors and is an assistant coach with the Southwick Regional School boys volleyball team!
