Vallee selected as NECC Softball Player of the Week for second time this season

Bay Path University junior, Lauren Vallee from Bristol, Conn. was selected as the NECC Softball Player of the week for the second time this season.  

Vallee led the Wildcats to an 8-0 week and the fifth seed in the NECC Tournament. The junior finished the week with a batting average of .656 and a slugging percentage of 1.156 through the eight games. Vallee was productive at the plate (21/32) which included five doubles, a triple and three homeruns.

She also was recognized by the NCAA Division III Softball statistics update as the:

• National leader in Division for:
  • Batting Average- .587
  • Slugging Percentage- 1.135
  • Doubles per game- .67
• Top 3 leader for:
  • Runs per game- 1.70
  • RBI's per game- 1.67
• Top 5 leader in:
  • OnBase % (OBP)- .611 
  • Triples per game- .22
