Soccer Hires New Soccer Coach and Alumni Kerry Verdecchia

LONGMEADOW, MASS. – Bay Path College athletic director, Steve Smith, is pleased to announce that Kerry Verdecchia has been appointed head coach of the Wildcats soccer team.

Verdecchia of Meriden, Connecticut, is a 2003 graduate of Bay Path College and one of the all-time leading scorers in Wildcat soccer history. While at Bay Path College, Verdecchia was named North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year, and led the team to an undefeated season and the North Atlantic Conference Championship In 2002. In addition, Verdecchia was selected as 1st Team All-North Atlantic Conference and voted as North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year in 2003.

Verdecchia was the assistant coach of the Wildcats soccer team in 2007.
