EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Freshman middle hitter Lydia Clifford (Coventry, R.I.) registered a match-high 22 kills and senior libero Joanne Nazario (Springfield, Mass.) tallied a staggering 40 digs to lift the Bay Path University women’s volleyball team to an impressive 3-1 victory over Mitchell College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) volleyball Wednesday evening.

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Freshman middle hitter Lydia Clifford (Coventry, R.I.) topped all players with 12 kills with a .219 attack percentage despite a 3-1 loss to New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) opponent Becker College Hawks today with the game scores 25-20, 25-6, 20-25 and 25-20. Sophomore setter Latonia Hornsby (Springfield, Mass.) finished with a double double topping all setters with 21 assists, while adding 14 digs.

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Owls flew past the host Wildcats tonight in NCAA DIII women’s volleyball action 3-0 with the game scores being 25-14, 25-11 and 25-19. Westfield State was led by junior outside hitter Natasha Belardo (Springfield, Mass.) with a stellar .438 attack percentage, while the Wildcats top hitter was once again freshman middle blocker Lydia Clifford (Coventry, R.I.) finishing with five kills and six digs.

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. - In their 2018 home opener the Wildcats of Bay Path fell 3-0 (26-24, 25-15, 25-14) to the Pioneers of Smith College. Freshman middle blocker Lydia Clifford (Coventry, R.I.) led the way for the Wildcats with a .368 attack percentage adding 12 kills, two service aces and two blocks despite the loss.
