Bay Path selected to play in the NCAA Division III Softball Ithaca Regional Brackett

Bay Path University received the news about their NCAA Division III selection at 1 pm on Monday, May 7, 2018 and will travel to the Ithaca Regional to face host and # 1 seed Ithaca College.  The Regional Tournament begins on Friday, May 11 with the #4 Wildcats making their first ever appearance.

Bay Path earned the Automatic NECC Qualifier trip by winning 4 games during the elimination brackett over the past weekend.  NECC Tournament MVP, Felicia Gaillardetz, (Londonderry, NH) led the way by pitching each complete game while picking up her 16th victory and lowering her ERA to 239.  Katrina Peck, (Newington, Conn.) and Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn.) also were recognized as NECC All-tournament players.
