Bay Path University "Wildcats" was defeated 12-11 by the St. Elizabeth in a thrilling 9 inning game oin the second game of the day on Wednesday.
The "Wildcats" got behind early 7-3 after 4 innings against St. Elizabeth but stormed back to tie the game 7-7 before going into the extra frames.
Bay Path banged out 13 hits in the game, hitting 4 doubles and a triple in the effort. Lauren Vallee, (Bristol, Conn.) had 2 hits and , 2 stolen bases and drove in 4 runs in the game.
Bay Path resumes play on Thursday, 3/12/15 with a 1:30 game against Principia College and a 3:30 game vs. Cazenovia College.
