Bay Path loses to Yeshiva University in Consolation Game

Paxton, Mass. – Yeshiva College junior Stephanie Greenberg (Cedarhurst, NY) poured in a game-high twenty-three points to lead the Maccabees to a 71-67 victory over Bay Path College in the consolation game of the AMCAT Classic Tip-Off Tournament at Anna Maria College on Sunday afternoon.

With the win Yeshiva evens their season record at 1-1, while Bay Path drops to 0-2.

Greenberg added seven rebounds, four assists and 5 steals to her stat line and was named to the All-Tournament for her performance. Teammate Rebecca Yoshor (Houston, TX) posted nine point and added 16 points, while sophomore Julie Owen (Seattle, Wash.) added 10 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals on the afternoon.

Bay Path had three players in double figures. Senior Kayla Skiffington (East Longmeadow, Mass.) notched 18 rebounds and was a force on the boards registering 19 rebounds.  Off the bench senior Justin Hook (Berwick, Penn.) tossed in 11 points and grabbed 9 rebounds while junior Katherine Chabot (Brookfield, Mass.) added 15 points. Skiffington was named to the All-Tournament team.

Bay Path will return to action on Tuesday evening when the travel to the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) for a 6pm match-up, Yeshiva will host Mercy College on Thursday evening at 8pm.
