ATTLEBORO, Mass.- The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) released the 2012 NECC Women’s Volleyball All- Conference Team today with eight of the nine members represented on the all-conference team. Bay Path College has been honored with the league's Sportsmanship Award. The Wildcats are coached by Natalie Stothart. Stothart led the Wildcats to a 12-11 overall record this season.

HOLYOKE, Mass.- Bay Path shut down New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) opponent the Hawks of Becker College tonight at the Bartley Center 3-0 (25-6, 25-17 and 25-13) during senior/ Dig Pink Night. The Wildcats honored their lone senior setter Ashley Provost (Ludlow, Mass.) for her four year record breaking career at Bay Path. Provost finished the evening with the match high 26 assists along with two kills, two service aces and a dig. Bay Path also honored Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a Dig Pink Match.

HOLYOKE, Mass.- The Wildcats hosted the Colonels of Curry College and the Trailblazers of MCLA in an NCAA Division III regional women’s volleyball tri-match. The Wildcats were the only team to sweep the day with Bay Path winning the first match against Curry 3-1 (22-25, 25-15, 25-16 and 25-18) and the final match against MCLA (25-23, 25-22 and 25-14). MCLA took game two of the day from Curry 3-0 (25-13, 25-14 and 26-24).

HOLYOKE, Mass.- The Wildcats were led by a pair of freshman middle hitters Elizabeth Haylette (Terryville, Conn.) and Arriadne Sykes (Hartford, Conn.) who combined for 28 kills en route to a 3-1 victory over local New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) rivals the Blazers of Elms College. Haylette led all players with 15 kills and Sykes finished with a sizzling .393 attack percentage tonight at the Bartley Center. Bay Path easily took the first game 25-15, while Elms came back to claim game two 25-21. The two teams battled in the third game with the Wildcats prevailing. Bay Path did not look back controlling the final game 25-16.

HOLYOKE, Mass.- Freshman middle hitter Arriadne Sykes (Hartford, Conn.) led the way for Bay Path nailing a sizzling .346 attack percentage in a 3-1 New England Collegiate Conference(NECC) victory over the Lynx of Lesley this afternoon at the Bartley Center on HCC campus. Bay Path controlled most of the match easily taking the first two games 25-22 and 25-17, with the Lynx taking advantage of a .000 hitting percentage for the Wildcats in the third game winning it 25-21. Bay Path came on strong in the final set shutting down Lesley 25-9.

BENNINGTON, Vt. – Southern Vermont College women's volleyball continues to push toward the No. 1 seed in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) tournament as it knocked off another conference opponent Wednesday night. The Mountaineers took down Bay Path College, 3-0, at the Mountaineer Athletic Center on the SVC campus.

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Pride of Regis College defeated host Bay Path College 3-0 Saturday at the First Baptist Church. The game scores were 25-20, 25-14 and 25-20. The Pride was led by junior middle hitter Vanessa Noesi (Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic ) with a sizzling .474 attack percentage topping all players with nine kills. Bay Path had two freshman players who tallied five kills apiece including middle hitter Elizabeth Haylette (Terryville, Conn.) and outside hitter Arriadne Sykes (Hartford, Conn.).

NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Mitchell College women's volleyball team defeated Bay Path College by a 3-0 final on Tuesday night in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action at the Yarnall Athletic Center.Bay Path (6-8 overall, 0-2 NECC) was led by Kate Bartels (Dalton, Mass.) and Elizabeth Haylette (Terryville, Conn.) with five kills apiece. Kacie Bayreuther (East Lyme, Conn.) contributed a match-high 25 digs on the defensive side while Ashley Provost (Ludlow, Mass.) added 13 assists.

BROOKLINE, Mass.- Eastern Connecticut State remained undefeated on the day in the host Newbury College Volleyball Tri-Match . The host Nighthawks split for the day while Bay Path lost two with match one going to Eastern Connecticut 3-0 over Newbury; the second match had the Warriors beating the Wildcats 3-0 and then the nighthawks finished the day beating Bay Path 3-0. Bay Path’s sophomore defensive specialist Kacie Bayreuther (East Lyme, Conn.) had 22 digs and freshman Arriadne Sykes (Hartford, Conn.) finished with eight kills for the day.

POLTNEY, Vt. The Wildcats fought hard in a extremely long day for Bay Path finishing 14 games taking two of the three matches to a fifth deciding set. In their first match, Bay Path fell 3-1 to the Fighting Scots. The Wildcats came back to win a five game match 3-2 against Brooklyn College and finally they fell 3-2 in a tough fought battle against host Green Mountain. Senior setter Ashley Provost (Ludlow, Mass.) led the way with 71 assists and 19 digs for the day for the Wildcats.

Worcester, MA --- Sophomore Alyssa Jasper (Rockland, MA) finished with 13 kills and a nifty .333 hitting percentage as she helped lead Worcester State to a 3-0 triumph over Bay Path this evening in non-conference women’s volleyball action at the Lancer Gym. The Lancers improve their season mark to 6-5 while the Wildcats slip to 5-3 with the setback. The victory marked the 100th career win for 8th year head coach Bernie Chase who is 100-129 overall (.418).

WORCESTER, Mass. --- Despite three Wildcats hitting over .300 for the match the Lancers held strong defeating Bay Path 3-0 in regional women’s volleyball action. Worcester State won in three tight games 25-21, 25-21 and 25-17. Freshman outside hitter Arriadne Sykes (Hartford, Conn.) led the way with a .357 attack percentage with eight kills.

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.- The Wildcats dominated the women’s volleyball tri-match hosted by Bard College, sweeping SUNY Purchase 3-0 and host Bard 3-0, the host Raptors managed to pull off the other win on the day defeating the Panthers of SUNY Purchase College 3-1. Leading the way for the Wildcats was freshman middle hitter Elizabeth Haylette (Terryville, Conn.). Haylette tallied a .300 attack percentage for the day with 14 kills in the six sets.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus women’s volleyball team battled back from being down 2-1 to defeat the Bay Path College Wildcats 3-2 (17-25, 26-24, 24-26, 25-16, 17-15) in non-league action on Thursday night. The Wildcats were led by junior middle hitter Kate Bartels (Dalton, Mass.) who tallied the match-high 17 kills.
