Bay Path runs to Victory at the Blue Jay Invitational

West Hartford, Conn. -

Bay Path University came away with its first cross-country win by defeating the University of St. Joseph, Conn. in the Blue Jay Invitational 5K race on the USJ campus. on Saturday, September 29, 2018.  The "Wildcats' were led by 1st year harrier Briana Serrao (Chicopee, Mass.) who was the top Bay Path runner finishing in 3rd place overall with a time of 25:03.  The remaining "Wildcats" were Megan Bachand (Granby, Mass.) 26:04 in 4th place, Kamryn McCorison (Southwick, Mass.) finishing in 5th place with a time of 31:20, then Haleigh Bassett in 6th place at 35:00 and Anna Austin finished next at 46:17 in 7th place.
