Bay Path finishes 5th place in the NECC Women's Cross-Country Championships

"Wildcats" complete the 2018 season with a 5th place finish in the NECC Women's Cross-Country Championship
Bay Path University completed the the 2018 Fall Cross-Country season with a 5th place finish in the NECC Women'sCross Country Championships held at Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass. on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Despite the heavy rain and wind that reeked havoc on the 6K course at Stanley Park, the NECC Cross-Country Championships were moved back a day to let the course settle into shape it was completed and champions crowned.
The 'Wildcats" finshed in 5th place out of 7 teams scoring and were led by Briana Serrao who finished 3rd overall earning 1st Team All-NECC Honors while Megan McKenna was named to the All-NECC Sportsmanship Team.
Bay Path came away with another strong team finish at the NECC Championships. The "Wildcats' were led by Briana Serrao (Chicopee, Mass.) finishing in 3rd place overall with a time of 22:11. The remaining "Wildcats" were Megan Bachand (Granby, Mass.) 24:03, Megan McKenna (Bennington, VT) at 25:59, Kamryn McCorison (Southwick, Mass.) with a time of 27:18, then Haleigh Bassett in 29:36 and Anna Austin finished at 39:38.
