Bay Path Team Honored as 17th Nationally in NFCA All-Academic DIII

STARKVILLE, Miss.- Head Coach Steve Smith and the 2011 Bay Path Softball Team were honored by the NFCA ranked 17th out of 111 institutions nationally for NFCA Academic All- American with a team GPA of 3.431. The top institution was Northwestern (3.694). Ten Wildcats were also named NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes.

The following student-athletes earned NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes honors including Vanessa Chaplin (Attleboro, Mass.), Jen Scionti (Cromwell, Conn.), Kellie Lastowski (Turners Falls, Mass.), Emily Evans (Westford, Mass.), Emily Serrano (North Adams, Mass.), Jessica Priestly (Middleboro, Mass.), Nicole Dexter (Delanson, N.Y.), Amanda Blumenstein (Fort Lee, N.J.), Theresa West (Hadley, Mass.) and Beatriz Frausto (East Hartford, Conn.).
