Bay Path College sweeps against Southern Vermont

Longmeadow, MA – Bay Path College defeated Southern Vermont College in NECC action. The doubleheader sweep came at scores of 4-3 and 7-1 this afternoon.

Keelin Dougherty pitched 14 innings striking out 12 and allowing 4 runs.  She also chipped in going 4 for 5, scored 5 runs and had 7 stolen bases. Hayley McDonald went the distance in both games for SVC allowing 12 runs while striking out 12.

Bay Path 7-22, 2-6 NECC next plays on Sunday, April 15 at 3 & 5 pm vs. Wheelock College.  Southern Vermont College 3-23, 0-8 NECC plays home at 1 & 3 pm vs. Mitchell College.
