Bay Path College Sweeps against NECC Foe Becker College

Longmeadow, MA – Bay Path College defeated Becker College in NECC action. The "Wildcats" won the opener 6-5 and the nightcap 4-2.

Keelin Dougherty (Northfield, NH) pitched two complete games going 14 innings striking out 7.  She also chipped in going 4 for 7, scored 3 runs and had 3 stolen bases. Mercedes Griffith (Malden, MA) chipped in with 3 hits including her 2nd home run of the year.  Talan Barron (Metheun, MA) was 4-5 on the day for Becker.  Megan Cordon (Watertown, CT) took the loss in game 2 and pitched well in relief during game 1 striking out on the day.

Bay Path 11-22, 6-6 NECC next plays on Saturday, April 21 at 12 & 2 pm at Daniel Webster College.  Becker College 10-21, 7-4 NECC plays next at Elms College on April 21.
