WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HOLDS FREE BASKETBALL CLINIC FOR LOCAL GIRLS

Springfield, Mass. -- The Bay Path College women's basketball team put on a free basketball clinic for 25 third, fourth, and fifth grade girls from the Beal Elementary School in Springfield, Mass.

Current team members taught different aspects of the game by holding various stations that focused on specific basketball skills, including ball handling, passing, shooting, and defense. At the end of the clinic, there was free time for the girls to get to know some of the team members.

Although this is the first time this year for the Wildcats to partner with the Beal School, they have had a long standing relationship.  The two schools will team up again this spring to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWDS).
