Women's Lacrosse Honors Seton Hill

In Monday's Women's Lacrosse scrimmage between Bay Path and Albertus Magnus, both teams played in honor of the Seton Hill women's lacrosse program, which lost its head coach Kristina Quigley in a tragedy on March 16.  The teams made signs and put crimson and yellow ribbons in their hair, the Seton Hill University colors, to pay tribute to the Seton Hill program.

In their first ever game, the Wildcats pulled out a win with no time left on the clock.  Senior Shelby Regan (Longmeadow, MA) netted her second goal of the game as the final horn sounded.  The Wildcats struck early, with Brittany Morin (Holyoke, MA) scoring less than three minutes into the game.  Sophomore Megan Tancredi (Newington, CT) netted a goal and fellow sophomore Megan Squadrito (Ellington, CT) scored two goals to send the Wildcats to a 6-5 win.  Nicole Mitchell (Hopkinton, NH) was solid in the defensive end, forcing multiple turnovers.  Senior goalkeeper Elizabeth Barclay (Auburn, ME) faced 14 shots, making 9 saves.

The Wildcats next face Mitchell College on April 3rd at 3:30pm.  This will be their first home game.  Albertus Magnus travels to Daniel Webster on March 30th for a scrimmage at 3:00pm.
