ATTLEBORO, Mass.- The Bay Path Wildcats are awarded the 2010 NECC Women's Volleyball Team Sportsmanship Honor; while junior middle hitter Nadine Harkless (Westfield, Mass.) was named to the 2010 NECC All-Conference honorable mention team.

HOLYOKE, Mass.- Bay Path fell 3-0 to Daniel Webster in their final regular season match today. The Eagles took three straight sets 25-12, 25-11 and 25-21.was also senior day for the Wildcats honoring its two four year members prior to the match. Outside hitter Davi Chuong (Easthampton, Mass.) and defensive specialist Karie Ascensio (Mahopac, N.Y.).

HOLYOKE, Mass.- The Wildcats of Bay Path overcame a slow start to take down the Blue Jays of St. Joseph College 3-1 tonight at the Bartley in NCAA DIII regional women’s volleyball action. Leading all performers was junior middle hitter Nadine Harkless hitting a .300 attack percentage with 18 kills for the four sets. St. Joseph took the first set 25-18, while Bay Path came back to win the next three sets 25-22, 25-17 and 25-15.

HOLYOKE, Mass.—Junior middle hitter Nadine Harkless (Westfield, Mass.) helped propel the Wildcats of Bay Path to their first conference victory over the Mariners of Mitchell College in a 3-0 sweep for the first match of the day. Harkless had 19 kills and 19 digs for the day hitting a .265 attack percentage averaging 3.17 digs and kills per set. Bay Path won the first match 25-23, 25-18, 25-20. Lesley prevailed on the day taking both New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) matches 3-1 and 3-0. The Lynx took the second match 23-25, 25-20, 25-22 and 25-14 over Mitchell while cruising through the Wildcats in the final match 25-15, 25-21 and 25-14.

JOHNSON, Vt.-In the final match of the day Johnson State jumped out to an early 12-3 lead in game one before the Wildcats, behind the sizzling serving of Ashley Provost (Ludlow, Mass.), came clawing back to the earn the win and eventually the match win 3-0. Provost won 11 straight points on her serve in game one to help BPC to the game one win and finished with eight service aces to go with her match-high 16 assists while adding seven digs. Davi Chuong (Easthampton, Mass.) finished with seven kills to lead the team with Michelle Huang (Boston, Mass.) notching five kills, three service aces, and four digs.

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Sept. 9, 2010) – With first year outside hitter Martina Kneifel (Oro Valley, Ariz./Canyon del Oro) leading the way, the Mount Holyoke College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-11, 25-13) triumph over Bay Path College this evening at the Mildred S. Howard Gymnasium. It was the Lyons fifth straight season opening victory. They are now perfect in three all-time meetings with the Wildcats.
