Vallee and Connors honored during Senior Day Festivities EAST LONGMEADOW, MASS.-  Senior middle hitter Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn.) topped all players with a sizzling .600 attack percentage tallying 17 kills, eight digs and four assists leading her team to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-19) victory over the Nighthawks of Newbury College today during senior day in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) volleyball action with the victory the Wildcats earn a spot in the 2017 NECC championship tournament. Fellow senior honoree Ashlee Connors (Springfield, Mass.) finished with 7 kills, six digs and two service aces.

Vallee Leads Wildcats with 12 Kills EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. – Bay Path hosted New England Collegiate Conference opponent Southern Vermont College in women’s volleyball action Thursday night and dropped a 3-0 decision by a 25-17, 25-19, 25-19 count in front of a lively crowd at First Baptist Church. Senior Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn.) led all Wildcats with an error-free, 12-kill performance. Junior Lexi Cears (Agawam, Mass.) tallied a team-high 17 assists to go with five digs, while junior Taylor Heinbokel (Agawam, Mass.) paced Bay Path with eight digs.

Bay Path Holds Dig Pink Night EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Wildcats were led by senior outside hitter Ashlee Connors (Springfield, Mass.) with a stellar .526 attack percentage chipping in ten kills and four digs. Fellow senior and middle hitter Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn.) topped all players with 15 kills, three digs and five blocks. The Wildcats took three straight sets from New England Collegiate Conference opponent Mitchell College 25-22, 25-14 and 25-23 for the win. The Wildcats hosted their annual Dig Pink night to raise awareness and money for National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

  EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Wildcats were led by senior middle hitter Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn.) topping all player with 18 kills hitting .412 for the match. Despite a slow start and losing the first game, Bay Path came back to again take the Fitchburg State Falcons 3-1 tonight at the First Baptist Arena. Game scores were 16-25, 25-16, 25-21 and 25-22. Prior to the match, junior setter Lexi Cears (Agawam, Mass.) was finally honored at their first home match back from a ten game away schedule. Interestingly, Cears reached her 1,000th milestone on the Falcons’ home turf defeating them 3-1 on Thursday, September 28th, 2017.

EAST LONGMEADOW, MASS.-  Bay Path hosted Mass. College of Liberal Arts Trailblazers (2-5)  and Castleton University Spartans (0-6) in another tri-match today at the First Baptist arena falling 3-0 in the first match to MCLA, the Trailblazers also took the second match 3-0 over the Spartans. The Wildcats shut-down Castleton 3-0 in the final match in NCAA Division III regional women’s volleyball action.   Despite the tough loss, the Wildcats were once again led by senior middle blocker Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn.) hitting a.452 on the day with 17 kills. MCLA took the match in three set games 25-20, 25-23 and 25-22. Senior middle hitter Brianna O’Rourke (Piseco, N.Y.) finished with a match high .556 attack percentage adding two blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Brooke Queripel (Palmer, Alaska) had 10 kills and seven digs.

EAST LONGMEADOW, MASS.-  The Wildcats were led by senior middle blocker Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn.) hitting a stellar .513 for the day with 24 kills, nine aces and seven digs.  Bay Path (2-0) hosted NCAA DIII regional opponents Mass Maritime Buccaneers (1-1) and John State Badgers (0-2) today in the opening women’s volleyball weekend. In the first game the Wildcats took the Buccaneers in three straight sets 25-12, 25-12 and 25-16. In the second match, the Buccaneers came back to defeat the Badgers 25-5, 25-14 and 25-19. Bay Path swept the final match against Johnson State 25-5, 25-14 and 25-19.
