Bay Path Takes Becker 3-1 in NECC Action

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Junior middle hitter Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn.) finished with 20 kills with a sizzling .319 attack percentage leading her team to a 3-1 victory over New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) rival Becker College. Bay Path took the first set 25-20, while Becker came back to grab the second set 27-25. The Wildcats then managed to win the final two sets for the win 25-23 and 26-24.

Senior right side Paige Marshall (New Britain, Conn.) also notched double figures with 11 digs and seven kills.

Sophomore setter Lexi Cears (Agawam, Mass.) topped her team with five service aces and had 32 assists.

The Hawks were topped by sophomore middle hitter Kayla Dupree (North Bergen, N.J.)

The Wildcats under the helm of first year coach Pat Annecchiarico advance to 7-7 overall and 3-1 in conference play, Becker falls to 7-14 and 0-4 in the NECC.
