EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Bay Path fell 3-1 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action despite a tough effort from the Wildcats against the Lynx of Lesley University. Becker took the first game 25-22, while Bay Path came back to grab the second game25-22. Lesley won the final two games 25-20 and 25-22. Junior middle hitter Lauren Vallee (Bristol, Conn.) finished with 15 kills and eight digs.
Senior right side Paige Marshall (New Britain, Conn.) and junior outside hitter Ashlee Connors (Springfield, Mass.) each added six kills, with Marshall at six digs and Connors finishing with seven for the contest,
Sophomore setter Lexi Cears (Agawam, Mass.) had 32 assists, four digs and three aces.
The Lynx were led by junior Kaylee Deluga (Dennis, Mass.) with 15 kills and a sizzling .429 attack percentage.
Lesley stays undefeated in conference play improving to 4-0 and 7-11 overall, Bay Path sees their three match streak come to an end with a 7-8 record on the season and 3-2 in the NECC.
