Bay Path University traveled to Auburn, ME to play a doubleheader at Central Maine CC on Saturday and was swept in a doubleheader 13-1 & 13-5.
Game 1 Highlights 13-1 (2-9)
Bay Path got behind early through three innings 6-1 and were unable to close the gap. The Wildcats scored their only run in the top of the 1st on a a triple by Taylor Suffoletto (Warwick, RI) and passed ball to lead for the only time in the game.
Daisy Guzman (Maricopa, AZ) (L, 1-5) started and tossed a complete game for Bay Path.
Game 2 Highlights 13-5 (2-10)
The 2nd game of the doubleheader was a close game with Bay Path keeping the score at 5-5 after three complete innings. The Wildcats were unable to score and eventually fell in a 13-5 loss after 5 plus innings.
The "Wildcats" had 6 hits in the game led by Ansley Morrison (Burlington, NJ) with a pair of hits.
Emma Scheeren (L, 1-5) took the loss in pitching the 2nd game of the doubleheader.
