Megan Tancredi and Marina Rhodes Honored During Senior Day LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Wildcats secure a spot in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) 2014 Women’s Soccer Tournament with the 3-0 victory today over the Mariners of Mitchell College today during senior day at Ryan Field. Bay Path is now 4-12-1 overall and 3-5-1 in the NECC tied with Newbury for the #6 spot, Mitchell is 2-12-2 on the season and 2-5-2 in conference play at the #8 spot.

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Sophomore forward/keeper Briana Kujawski (Webster, Mass.) paced the Wildcats with two goals along with seeing her first time defending the net with three saves, and sharing a piece of the shut-out. Bay Path played down a player to stay even with the limited Daniel Webster bench. Head Coach Christopher Streeter managed to give some key reservists some ample field time for this match.

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Wildcats of Bay Path fell 4-0 to New England Collegiate Conference foe the Pride of Regis College today in a rainy day match up at Ryan Field. Despite the 4-0 loss, Bay Path stepped up their offensive effort finishing with 13 shots to Regis’ 22 on the day.Sophomore forward Briana Kujawski (Webster, Mass.) led the wildcats with four shots for the day.

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Wildcats of Bay Path University hosted local rival the Mount Holyoke Lyons in regional women’s soccer action today at Ryan Field falling 3-0 in the match. Despite the loss, Wildcats sophomore keeper Alma Rizvani (Prospect, Conn.) managed to keep the score low facing 29 shots for the day with 11 saves.

The Eagles’ junior midfielder Maegon Laymon (Ilion, N.Y.) broke away in the 89th minute of play off a cross up the middle by freshman midfielder Rebecca Gollub (Annapolis, Md.) to score the game winner.Sophomore goal keeper Alma Rizvani (Prospect, Conn.) suffered the loss despite facing 24 shots and notching 11 saves for the contest.

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Freshman forward Elena Helming (Maplewood, N.J.) lifts the Wildcats of Bay Path University in the 98th minute of single overtime action with the lone goal over Fitchburg State. Fellow freshman defender Kaitlyn Hackett (Ludlow, Mass.) dished Helming the ball to notch the Wildcats first victory on the season. Helming led the way with five shots, four of which were on goal.
