LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The “Pretty in Pink” Wildcats despite a valiant effort fell 2-1 to the Mariners of Mitchell College in their final home stand in another New England Collegiate Conference(NECC) match today at Ryan Field. The Wildcats sported pink uniforms for their Pink Out match supporting October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

ATTLEBORO, Mass.- New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Commissioner, Del Malloy, announced the 2012 NECC Women’s Tennis All-Conference Team today. On Saturday, October 20th Regis College won the first tournament championship defeating Bay Path College 5-4, with the conclusion of the season the All-Conference Team was announced with eleven student-athletes earning honors in both singles and doubles action. Bay Path’s junior Symone Watson (Hamden, Conn.) was named first team in singles, while the freshman duo Brittany Walsh (North Smithfield, R.I.) and Taylor Wood (Castleton, N.Y.) garnered second team honors in singles play as well.

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Wildcats of Bay Path shut down the Eagles of Daniel Webster 7-0 today in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women’s soccer action today at Ryan Field. Junior midfielder Emily Serrano (Savoy, Mass.) led the way for the Wildcats with four points scoring the first goal and eventual game winner along with two assists on the day.

LEICESTER, MASS. –#3 Bay Path ended #2 Becker's season on Wednesday evening in a 5-4 loss at home to conference foe the Hawks at the Leicester Tennis Courts. The Wildcats and the Hawks have both shared the last four New England Collegiate Conference Championships with this being the first season the title is won during Tournament Play. The Hawks end their season with a 10-7 record. The Wildcats move on to the finals with a 12-5 mark facing the #1 seed Regis College

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior goalkeeper Sarah McCaffrey (East Taunton, Mass.) stopped all 15 shots she faced and sophomore midfielder Emma Petner (Hilo, Hawaii) netted the only goal of the match to give the Wheelock College women’s soccer team a 1-0 victory over visiting Bay Path College this evening in a New England Collegiate Conference match at Winsor Field in Boston. Sophomore goalie Marina Rhodes (Providence, RI) made six saves for Bay Path.

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College sophomore midfielder Carmen Marino(Granby, Mass.) scored a pair of second half goals to help pace the Blazers to a 3-0 victory over Bay Path College in Saturday afternoon's New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's soccer game at Leary Field. Bay Path's goalkeeper Marina Rhodes (Providence, R.I.) finished with 15 saves facing 28 shots (18 on goal).

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Freshman duo Brittany Walsh (North Smithfield, R.I.) and Taylor Wood (Castleton, N.Y) took the only doubles match at the No.3 spot defeating senior Hazel Gammad(Needham, Mass.) and junior Hannah Weiner (Barrington, R.I.). Both No.1 doubles and No.2 doubles were won by the Nighthawks of Newbury College(6-9, 4-6) who took the advantage in doubles and never looked back winning 5-4 the final regular season match for Bay Path (11-5, 6-4). The Wildcats head into tournament play as the # 3seed travelling to #2 Becker College while #4 Newbury finishes with the final spot and will travel to #1 Regis College on Wednesday, October 17th. LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Wildcats of Bay Path College faced the Bulldogs of Dean College to a double overtime 2-2 tie today in a women’s soccer bout played on Ryan Field. The lengthy bout just made it past the sunset on the 2:25 minute match with numerous injuries on a cold wet October afternoon with the Wildcats notching their second tie now 2-8-2 on the season and Dean coming away with a 7-4-1 overall record.

LONGMEADOW, Mass. – In the second meeting of these New England Collegiate Conference schools Regis came on strong to start the match after losing two doubles in their last meeting with Bay Path. The Pride managed to overtake all three doubles and didn’t look back scoring the necessary five winning points before the host Wildcats notched their first win of the match when freshman Brittany Walsh (North Smithfield, R.I.) defeated sophomore Kendall Kolb (Plymouth, Mass.) in No.3 singles action 6-1, 6-4.

LEICESTER, Mass. - Becker College defeated Bay Path College, 5-1 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field. The Hawks of Becker are now 4-5-2 and 2-1 in the conference standings, while the Wildcats of Bay Path drop to 2-7-1 and 1-2 in the NECC. Junior Keelin Dougherty (Northfield, N.H) broke through the scoreless drought the Wildcats have had for the last three contests scoring in the final minute of play.
