Bay Path Falls to Albertus Magnus 75-46 in Women's Basketball Action

NEW HAVEN, Conn.-On Wednesday night, The Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball Team cruised to a 75-46 win over visiting Bay Path College in non conference action.   At the end of the first half the Lady Falcons lead 36-34 in an even game. 

Bay Path was lead by senior forward Jessica Hunt (Madison, Conn) and her game high 26 points and 6 rebounds. Freshman guard Brittney Alexander (Enfield, Conn.) chipped in ten points and nine rebounds.

The Lady Falcons stormed out of the gate in the second half on a 29-2 run and never looked back.  The Lady Falcons were lead by junior center Nikki McClease (New Haven, Conn.) and her team high 18 points and game high 12 rebounds.  The Lady Falcons had four other players in double figures including tri-captain Kendra Dowen (Montpelier, Vt.) who had 13 points on the night.  Every member of the Falcons scored in a very balanced attack. 

Albertus Magnus improves to 1-2, 0-0 GNAC while Bay Path College drops to 1-1, 0-0 NECC.  The Lady Falcons travel to Wellesley College on Saturday for a 2:00 PM tip-off. Bay Path will travel to WNEC to play in their Golden Bear Hoops Classic, where they will face host WNEC on Friday night, November 21st at a 5:00 p.m. tip-off.
